The e-Payroll project is one of the e-government initiatives within the
President’s Management Agenda for improving the Government's responsiveness
to citizens and efficiency of operations. The charter for this initiative
is to consolidate the Federal Government’s twenty-two payroll functions
down to the least number of providers, which is initially four and later
two.
